Mum works from home and is hands-on, and the household includes a live-in housekeeper who manages cooking, laundry, and general upkeep. This role suits a confident, proactive nanny who can work as part of a team and support children across different ages. The position is to start as soon as possible.

• Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm (50h/week)

Salary

• £15–£17 net/hour
• Equivalent gross annual: ~£52,000 – £57,000

Role Overview

The nanny will focus on the daily care, development, and wellbeing of the three children, adapting to a busy and structured household. Mum is very present and the nanny must be comfortable working collaboratively. The housekeeper handles all cooking, laundry, and housekeeping, and provides support with the baby when the nanny is with the older children. During family holidays, the nanny will take on broader nursery duties and simple meal prep. This is a long-term position for a professional nanny who enjoys working within a team and supporting a growing family.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure full daily care of the three children
• Organise stimulating, age-appropriate activities
• Support homework and school-related tasks
• Plan outings, playdates, and structured activities
• Assist with the baby’s routines and developmental milestones
• Work collaboratively with mum and the live-in housekeeper
• Maintain a calm, structured, nurturing environment
• Take on nursery duties and simple meal prep during holidays

Nanny Duties

• School pick-ups and drop-offs
• Organising activities for all ages
• Homework support for the older children
• Engaging developmental play for the baby
• Managing routines, naptimes, and transitions
• Preparing simple meals for the children when required
• Packing school bags and organising schedules
• Maintaining tidiness in children’s areas (no deep cleaning)

Child-related Housekeeping

• Keeping play areas and bedrooms tidy
• Organising children’s clothes and school uniforms
• Loading/unloading dishwasher for children’s items
• Cleaning bottles if used
• No deep cleaning (handled by the housekeeper)

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Excellent English (for communication and homework support)
• Significant experience with multiple children
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Confident with baby routines and older children’s needs
• Proactive, calm, patient, and team-oriented
• Valid DBS
• Paediatric First Aid
• Right to Work in the UK
• Long-term commitment
