A warm and dynamic Canadian family based in Kensington (W14) is looking for a French-speaking nanny to care for their two sons: a baby boy (10 months at start) and his older brother (4 years old).

This is a live-out full-time position, with a long-term perspective in a household where the mother speaks French to the children and the father speaks English.

• Start date: ASAP

• Location: Kensington, London W14

• Schedule:

Option 1: Monday to Thursday – 40 hours/week

Option 2: Monday to Friday  50 hours/week

• Salary: £17 net/hour (i.e. £893 gross/week for 40h, £1174 gross/week for 50h) around £57 000K gross per year

Responsibilities

• Caring for the baby and older brother (including weaning, nappy changes, stimulating activities)

• Planning age-appropriate outings and activities

• Nursery/school drop-off and pick-up

• Cooking for the children (batch cooking appreciated so parents can enjoy leftovers)

• Tidying play areas and handling children’s laundry

• Working collaboratively with the family’s housekeeper

The ideal candidate

• Fluent French speaker

• Strong experience with babies and toddlers

• Confident in weaning and developmental stages

• Energetic, trustworthy, positive and engaging

• Looking for a long-term role with a warm family

• Travel required (approximately 2–3 times per year)
