A warm and welcoming family based in Maida Vale (W9) is looking for a French or Mandarin or German-speaking nanny to care for their baby girl, who is 8 months old.

Position details:

• Start date: ASAP

• Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 6pm

• Location: Maida Vale, W9

• Salary: £16 net per hour (£640 net/week)

• Equivalent gross annual salary: approx. £43395

About the child:

• One baby girl, 8 months old

• The nanny will support developmental milestones and assist with weaning (introduction to solids)

Duties include:

• Full daily care of the baby in a caring and stimulating environment

• Preparing healthy age-appropriate meals and supporting the weaning process

• Organising and maintaining a structured routine (naps, meals, play, outings)

• Engaging the child with age-appropriate activities (play, songs, reading, sensory stimulation)

• Taking the child on regular walks or to local parks

• Nursery-related housekeeping duties only, including:

  • Cleaning up after the child and after oneself (bottles, high chair, toys, etc.)

  • Washing, folding, and organising the child’s laundry

  • Keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas tidy and hygienic

Requirements:

• Proven experience caring for babies under 1 year old

• Confident with weaning and early childhood development

• Fluent in French or Mandarin or German

• Proactive, organised, reliable, and nurturing

• Physically fit: the family lives on the third floor with no lift (all bulky items can be kept on the ground floor)
