Location: Paddington / Hyde Park (W2), London (with international travel)
Contract: Live-in, permanent – starting January 2026 (with two trial periods of 10 days to two weeks in October and November or December 2025)
Duration: 1-year contract (with option to renew). A performance and flexibility-based bonus will be awarded at the end of the year.
Schedule: Two possible rota options:
    • Option 1: 24/7 live-in coverage for 3 consecutive weeks, followed by 9 days off (live-out)
    • Option 2: 6 days per week, live-in, with Thursday as the fixed day off

Salary: £70,000 gross/year + year-end bonus


About the Family

A family with three children:
    • an 8-month-old baby (who will turn 1 in January 2026)
    • two older children aged 6 and 8 (both in school, with a dedicated person responsible for most school pick-ups and drop-offs)

The household also employs a full-time housekeeper. The nanny will have primary responsibility for the baby, while also contributing to the care and activities of the older children.

During working weeks, the nanny will be accommodated in a room shared with the baby. On days off or during time away from the rota, the nanny leaves the household.


Main Duties

• Provide full daily care of the baby: feeding, hygiene, naps, play, development and routines
• Support the older children with their French development and reading, as well as with after-school activities, playtime, meals, bath, and bedtime
• Accompany the children to extracurricular activities
Travel with the family within Europe and internationally
• Maintain daily routines and support each stage of the children’s development
• Read books in French with the children and organise stimulating, educational, and creative games in French
• Work closely with the mother and existing household staff


Candidate Profile

Fluent French speaker (essential)
• Solid experience with babies and children of different ages
Flexible, reliable, discreet and caring
• Comfortable with either rota option and available to travel regularly
