A professional and reliable nanny is required to support a family with two young children on a part-time, after-school basis. The role focuses primarily on weekday afternoons, with optional Saturday work.

Children

• Two children aged 3.5 years and 1.5 years
  Both attend nursery full-time.

Working Hours

• Mondays & Wednesdays: 4:00pm – 7:00pm

• Optional:

  • 1 Saturday per month, 6:00pm – 11:00pm

  • 1 Saturday per month, 10:00am – 1:00pm

Core role: weekday afternoons
Saturdays: optional and agreed in advance

Weekly hours (core): 6 hours
Average with optional Saturdays: approx. 8 hours/week

Salary

• £25–£30 gross per hour

• Weekly gross (core hours): £150 – £180

• Weekly gross (average incl. optional Saturdays): approx. £200 – £240

Role Overview

The nanny will be responsible for afternoon support, including family meal preparation before nursery pick-up, followed by full care of the children until the parents return home.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare a family dinner prior to nursery pick-up

• Collect the children from nursery

• Manage the evening routine

• Provide attentive and age-appropriate care

Nanny Duties

• Cooking a main family meal between 4:00pm and 5:45pm

• Nursery pick-up at approximately 5:45pm

• Age-appropriate play and engagement

• Bath time around 6:20pm

• Serving and supervising dinner

• Supervising the children until parents return

Child-related Housekeeping

• Tidying the kitchen after cooking

• Cleaning up after children’s meals and activities

• Keeping children’s areas organised

No deep cleaning.

Requirements

• Fluent in French or fluent in English

• Proven experience with toddlers

• Confident cook, able to prepare family meals

• Reliable, punctual, and organised

• Paediatric First Aid and DBS preferred
