Professional family based in NW10, North West London, is seeking either an after-school nanny or a nanny/housekeeper depending on the candidate’s profile and availability. The role is long-term and suitable for an experienced, reliable, and organised nanny.

Working Hours

Option 1 – After-school Nanny

  • Monday to Friday

  • Standard hours: 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm

  • One extended afternoon per week: 3:30 pm – 9:30 pm or 10:30 pm

  • Total: 20 hours per week

(The exact evening can be agreed in advance.)

Option 2 – Nanny/Housekeeper

  • Monday to Friday

  • 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm childcare

    • 10 additional housekeeping hours per week

  • Total: 25 hours per week

Salary

£19–£20 gross per hour

  • Option 1 (20 hrs/week)
    £380 – £400 gross per week

  • Option 2 (25 hrs/week)
    £475 – £500 gross per week

Role Overview

The nanny will be responsible for after-school care, routines, and activities for two active school-age children. For the nanny/housekeeper option, additional housekeeping duties will be required during separate allocated hours.

Main Responsibilities

  • After-school care

  • School pick-ups

  • Preparing snacks and light meals

  • Supervising homework

  • Organising age-appropriate activities

Nanny Duties

  • Ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing

  • Supporting daily routines

  • Encouraging active lifestyle

  • Accompanying children to sports activities (tennis, football)

  • Engaging children in structured play and outdoor activities

Child-related Housekeeping

  • Tidying children’s bedrooms and play areas

  • Children’s laundry

  • Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean after meals

Housekeeping Duties (Option 2 only)

  • General household cleaning

  • Cleaning bathrooms

  • Hoovering and mopping floors

  • Maintaining overall household cleanliness

  • No deep cleaning

Requirements

  • Previous nanny or nanny/housekeeper experience

  • Experience with school-age children

  • Reliable, organised, and proactive

  • Comfortable managing light housekeeping (option 2)

  • DBS check

  • Paediatric First Aid
