Position: Part-Time Sole Charge Nanny

Short Intro

A family based in Purley Oaks is looking for a reliable and experienced nanny to care for their 14-month-old child. This is a sole charge, part-time position in a private household.

Children

• One child, 14 months old

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday

• 1:30pm – 5:30pm

• Total: 16 hours per week

Salary

• £20 gross per hour

• £320 gross per week

Start Date

• ASAP (or to be confirmed with the family)

Role Overview

Sole charge care of a toddler, ensuring safety, emotional well-being, and age-appropriate development during the afternoon routine.

Main Responsibilities

• Sole charge of the child

• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment

• Follow parents’ routine and guidelines

Nanny Duties

• Age-appropriate play and stimulation

• Supporting developmental milestones

• Snack preparation for the child

• Nap-time support if required

• Outdoor walks and activities when appropriate

Child-related Housekeeping

• Tidying up after the child

• Cleaning bottles, cups, and child-related items

• Keeping play areas organised

• No deep cleaning

Requirements

• Proven experience with toddlers

• Comfortable in a sole charge role

• Reliable and punctual

• Right to Work in the UK

• Mauritian Creole speaker is a bonus (not essential)

• Paediatric First Aid and DBS preferred (à ajouter si tu veux)
