A family based in Tulse Hill, SW2 is looking for an Italian-speaking after-school nanny to care for their child, aged 2.5 years old.
The family is looking for someone reliable, warm, organised and confident with toddlers. The nursery is located in Sydenham Hill, with good bus and train links. A driver with her own car would be a plus, but it is not essential.

Working Hours
Monday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm
Tuesday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm
Wednesday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm
Thursday: 3:30pm – 10:00pm / 10:30pm
Friday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm
Total: approximately 22.5 to 23 hours per week.
Salary
£20–£22 gross per hour
Approximately £450–£506 gross per week

The family has a medium-sized dog.
Role Overview
The nanny will be responsible for nursery pick-up and the child’s after-school routine. The role will include preparing snacks and meals, organising age-appropriate activities, supporting the evening routine and carrying out child-related duties only.
On Thursdays, the nanny will also be responsible for bath time and bedtime.
Main Responsibilities
Nanny Duties
Nursery pick-up in Sydenham Hill
Taking the child home safely by public transport or by car if applicable
Preparing snacks and simple meals for the child
Supporting the child’s afternoon and evening routine
Organising age-appropriate activities
Playing with the child and supporting their development
Reading stories and engaging the child in calm activities
Bath time on Thursdays
Bedtime routine on Thursdays
Keeping the parents updated on the child’s day
Child-related Housekeeping
Tidying up after the child
Cleaning the child’s dishes after meals/snacks
Keeping the child’s play areas tidy
Supporting with nursery bags and child-related items
No deep cleaning
Requirements
Italian-speaking nanny
Experience with toddlers
Reliable, punctual and organised
Confident with nursery pick-ups
Comfortable using public transport
Driver with own car would be a plus, but not essential
Must be comfortable with dogs
Able to carry out child-related duties only
Enhanced DBS check required
Paediatric First Aid certificate required
Right to Work in the UK
