A warm and caring Christian family based in Rochford (SS4), Essex is looking for an experienced, reliable and nurturing French-speaking nanny to care for their energetic and curious 2-year-old son, who is already attending nursery and will be changing nursery in November.

Working hours – three possible arrangements:

Option 1: Live-in (part-time during term time)

• Monday to Friday

• 7:30am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 7:30pm

• Private bedroom and bathroom provided

• £12.21 gross/hour

Option 2: 30h Nanny Housekeeper (live-in)

• Monday to Friday

• Approx. 30 h per week

• Approximate gross weekly salary: £480 (£16 gross/hour) (based on 30 hours/week)

• Includes nanny duties plus general housekeeping tasks such as family laundry, tidying, and occasional meal prep for the parents

Please note: During school holidays, the hours remain the same as the nursery stays open.

Main duties include:

• Dropping off and/or picking up the child from nursery (depending on the arrangement)

• Cooking and preparing daily meals: breakfast, dinner, snacks, and his uniform

• Organising fun, age-appropriate and educational activities

• Cleaning up after activities and meals

• Keeping the child’s bedroom tidy and clean

• Washing and caring for the child’s clothes and belongings

• General playtime including reading books, playing with toys, and taking the child on walks

• Conducting bath time, dressing, and bedtime when required

• Occasional travel with the family, including packing the child’s travel bag (as agreed)

• Supporting the family’s Christian values through daily routines, stories, and interactions

Languages required:

• French (fluent)

Essential requirements:

• Proven experience caring for toddlers

• A driving licence is mandatory

• Gentle, trustworthy, proactive and well-organised

• Comfortable working in a Christian household
