A family based in Balham is seeking a reliable and proactive childcare professional for a part-time role. The position can be adapted depending on the candidate’s availability, with a core morning schedule and optional additional hours. This is a long-term position with the potential to increase hours in the coming months/years depending on the family’s needs.

Monday       3:00pm – 7:00pm
Tuesday      3:00pm – 7:00pm
Wednesday  4:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday     3:00pm – 7:00pm
Friday          3:00pm – 7:00pm

Salary

• £19–£20 gross per hour

Role Overview

The family is flexible and open to different profiles. The core requirement is morning support during weekdays. Additional hours can be offered in the afternoons or through a more complete nanny housekeeper role, depending on the candidate’s availability and skill set.

Main Responsibilities

• Morning routine and nursery drop-offs

• Optional afternoon pick-ups and care

• Meal preparation (children and potentially family)

Nanny Duties

• Morning preparation and routine

• Nursery drop-offs

• Afternoon pick-ups (if applicable)

• Supervising the child

• Age-appropriate activities

• Preparing meals for the child

• Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment

Child-related Housekeeping

• Tidying play areas

• Child’s laundry

• Cleaning up after meals

• Keeping child’s areas organised

Requirements

• Previous nanny experience with toddlers

• Fluent English required

• Arabic (Tunisian dialect) is a strong bonus

• Confident cook, able to prepare family meals (preferred)

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable with early starts

• Organised and proactive

• Right to work in the UK
