A family based in Fulham, SW6 is looking for an after-school nanny to care for their two daughters, aged 3 and 6 years old.
The children attend a French school. The family is looking for someone with at least one of the following languages spoken very well: French, English or Swedish. The role will follow the French school calendar and will include full-time hours during school holidays.

Working Hours
The role is annualised and based on an average of approximately 29 hours per week across the year.
During term time, the nanny will work the following hours:
Monday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Tuesday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Wednesday: 1:30pm – 7:00pm
Thursday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Friday: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
During school holidays, the family will require full-time hours, approximately 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
The children are usually away for at least one week per year during the school holidays, therefore the annualised calculation is based on 36 weeks of term time and 15 weeks of full-time school holiday cover.
The family is looking for someone flexible and available to work additional hours when needed.
The family may also require on average one sleepover per month, due to the parents’ work travel. This will be paid separately.
Salary
£19 to £22 gross per hour.
The contract will be annualised and based on an average of approximately 29 hours per week across the year.
The nanny will receive the same weekly salary throughout the year, regardless of whether it is term time or school holidays.
Approximately £557 to £645 gross per week.
Start Date
September.
Role Overview
The nanny will be responsible for the children’s after-school routine during term time and full-time childcare during school holidays.
The role includes school pick-ups, snacks, dinner, activities, and child-related nanny duties only.
Main Responsibilities
Nanny Duties
School pick-up during term time.
Full-time childcare during school holidays.
Prepare snacks for the children.
Prepare and serve dinner.
Organise age-appropriate activities.
Support homework if required.
Engage with the children in French, English or Swedish, depending on the nanny’s strongest language.
Support the children’s daily routine.
Supervise bath and evening routine when needed.
Ensure the children are safe at all times.
Child-related Housekeeping
Keep the children’s areas tidy.
Tidy up after meals and snacks.
Keep the kitchen clean after preparing children’s food.
Organise the children’s belongings.
Support with the children’s laundry if needed.
No deep cleaning.
Requirements
At least one of the following languages spoken very well: French, English or Swedish.
Previous childcare experience with similar ages.
Reliable, punctual and organised.
Flexible to work full-time during school holidays.
Available for an average of one paid sleepover per month.
Confident with school pick-ups and after-school routines.
Enhanced DBS check.
Paediatric First Aid certificate.
