A family based in Ealing, W5 is looking for an experienced English-speaking nanny to care for their two children after school and during school holidays.
The family is looking for someone confident, organised and proactive, with a strong level of English to help develop the children’s vocabulary through daily conversation.

Two children aged 3 and 6 years old
Working Hours
This is an annualised contract.
Term time
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
2:00pm to 6:00pm
16 hours per week
School holidays
Approximately 12 weeks per year
Monday to Friday
8:00am to 5:30pm
47.5 hours per week
The hours are averaged across the year, giving an average of approximately 23.3 hours per week.
The nanny will be paid the same weekly/monthly salary throughout the year, including during term time and school holidays.
Salary
£19 to £22 gross per hour
Based on the annualised average:
Approximately £442 to £512 gross per week
Approximately £22,990 to £26,620 gross per year

Role Overview
The nanny will be responsible for school and nursery pick-ups, preparing the children’s evening meal in advance, taking them to after-school activities and supporting their English language development.
The role does not require homework support, bath time or evening mealtime supervision, as the parents will manage these.
Main Responsibilities
Collect the younger child from nursery at 3:30pm.
Collect the older child from school afterwards.
Drive the children to after-school clubs.
Activities include football and taekwondo.
Speak to the children in English.
Support vocabulary development through conversation.
Prepare the children’s evening meal in advance.
Keep the children safe, engaged and well cared for.
Nanny Duties
Prepare a simple evening meal for the children.
Organise the children’s belongings for activities.
Support with school and nursery routines.
Encourage good manners and independence.
Create a calm and positive afternoon routine.
Child-related Housekeeping
Tidy up after the children.
Clean up after meal preparation.
Keep the kitchen tidy after use.
Wash and organise the children’s uniforms.
Manage the children’s full laundry.
Keep the children’s clothes organised.
Keep the children’s areas tidy.
No deep cleaning required.
Requirements
Minimum C1 level in English.
Must be a confident driver.
Family car provided for nursery, school and activity runs.
Previous childcare experience with similar ages.
Reliable, organised and proactive.
Comfortable managing school/nursery pick-ups and activities.
Enhanced DBS check required.
Paediatric First Aid certificate required.
