A warm and welcoming family based in Islington (N1) is looking for a French-speaking nanny to care for their 10-month-old baby.

Start date: February 2026

Schedule:

• 2 full days per week, between Tuesday and Friday (flexible on the days)

• 8:00am to 4:30pm

Salary: £19–20 gross per hour

About the role:
The family is looking for a caring, engaging, and proactive nanny who enjoys spending time outdoors and introducing the child to new experiences. The nanny will be expected to speak exclusively in French with the child, helping them acquire the language naturally through daily interactions, songs, and play.
The role involves planning stimulating and age-appropriate activities such as park outings, visits to museums, and sensory play. In the near future, the nanny will also accompany the child to gym or swimming classes.

Dietary requirements:
The child is dairy-free (no milk or dairy products).

Nanny duties:

• Providing attentive, loving, and safe care for the baby

• Preparing healthy, dairy-free meals and snacks

• Planning and engaging in stimulating activities and outings

• Supporting the child’s early development and milestones

• Maintaining the child’s daily routine (naps, feeding, playtime)

• Ensuring the play area and nursery are kept tidy and organised

• Speaking only French with the child at all times

Profile sought:

• Fluent French speaker (native level preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years of professional nanny experience

• Paediatric First Aid certificate required

• Enhanced DBS check required

• Warm, patient, and reliable

• Enjoys outdoor activities, creative play, and early learning experiences
