Hours: Monday to Friday, from 4/5pm to approx. 9pm (25–30h/week). Occasional overnight stays paid extra.
Pay: £18 net/hour
Weekly: £450–£540 net (approx. £555–£687 gross per week)

About the Family

French/German household, both parents working full time in finance. They already employ a daytime nanny (7am–4pm) and now seek a strong, autonomous evening nanny to take over the evenings smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Plan engaging afternoon activities (outdoor play, reading, creative games).

• Prepare and serve the child’s dinner (including occasionally picking up groceries for him from nearby shops).

• Fully manage the evening routine: dinner, bath, wind-down, and bedtime.

• Take charge of all child-related household tasks: tidying the playroom, clearing the kitchen after dinner, folding the child’s clothes, emptying the nappy bin.

• Support with light family-related tasks once the child is asleep (e.g. folding laundry, filling the dishwasher).

• Very occasional daytime support when the daytime nanny is away (with advance notice).

Profile Sought

• At least 5 years’ solid experience caring for toddlers aged 1–3 in sole-charge roles.

• Confident, structured, and fully autonomous in executing a complete evening routine.

• Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals and staying organised.

• Warm, patient, and able to build a calm, positive rapport with a spirited toddler.

• Professional, reliable, proactive, and flexible.

• Open to support the family with babysitting a few hours on weekends

• Reasonable and manageable commute to W2 (40 minutes Maximum).

• Paediatric First Aid, Enhanced DBS, and excellent references required.
