Family in Islington is seeking an experienced sole charge nanny for their baby who will be 4 months old in January. The role will begin with a gradual start for the first few months before transitioning to the full contracted schedule.

Working Hours

• Four days per week, 9am–7pm (to be determined at the nanny’s convenience), with occasional longer hours
• Total weekly hours adjusted accordingly: 40h/week

Salary
• £18–£20 gross/hour
• Weekly gross: £720–£800

Role Overview
Full sole charge nanny role requiring solid experience with infants, bottle-feeding, sleep routines, and early development. The nanny must also be confident in supporting parents with weaning and the introduction of solids in the coming months.

Main Responsibilities

• Sole charge care
• Managing daily routines, naps, and development
• Varied and stimulating outdoor excursions
• Supporting parents in implementing the sleep trainer’s regime during the day
• Ensuring a safe, calm, structured environment

Nanny Duties
• Bottle-feeding (formula)
• Preparing and sterilising bottles
• Sleep routines and age-appropriate structure
• Sensory play and developmental stimulation
• Supporting milestones
• Introduction of solids and weaning
• Pre-bedtime routine (parents present for bedtime)
• Outings, baby groups, walks
• Daily updates to the parents
• An ideal candidate would be willing to undertake light household chores (laundry, unloading dishwasher, etc.) and cook occasional family meals

Child-related Duties
• Baby laundry
• Organising the nursery
• Cleaning feeding equipment
• Keeping play areas tidy
• No deep cleaning
