A warm and professional family based in Battersea (SW8) is seeking an experienced and reliable nanny to care for their 5-month-old baby. This is a sole-charge position, as both parents work full-time.

The role can be offered on either a live-in or live-out basis.

Schedule

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 6:00pm
50 hours per week

The Child

• 5 months old at start

• Formula-fed and breastfed

• Mild cow’s milk intolerance

• Parents are looking for someone confident with infant care and early development

Accommodation (Live-In Option)

If live-in, the nanny will have:

• Private bedroom

• Private bathroom

• Accommodation located on the top floor

The family home is set over three floors, so candidates must be comfortable working in a multi-level property.

Duties

Full nursery duties related to the child, including:

• All aspects of infant care

• Bottle preparation and feeding support

• Managing routines and naps

• Sterilising bottles and maintaining feeding equipment

• Baby laundry

• Keeping nursery and play areas organised

• Planning age-appropriate developmental activities

• Supporting early milestones and sensory stimulation

The family employs a cleaner three times per week. No deep cleaning is required, but the nanny must maintain all child-related areas.

Travel

The family travels occasionally for business (approximately twice per year).

If live-out, flexibility will be required to stay overnight during those periods.

Candidate Profile

The family is looking for someone who is:

• Highly reliable

• Fluent in English or French

• Experienced with babies under one year

• Knowledgeable about early childhood development

• Proactive and organised

• Flexible when required

Salary

• Live-Out: £18 gross per hour
  Equivalent to approximately £47,000 gross per annum (based on 50 hours per week).

• Live-In: £40,000  gross per annum
