A family based in NW6 is seeking a French-speaking nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old daughter. This is a long-term position with a stable schedule and a transition in hours from September 2026. The role is shared care with the mother, who is present at home.

Working Hours
From April 2026 (30 hours/week):
- Monday: 9:00am–7:00pm (10h)
- Tuesday: 2:00pm–7:00pm (5h)
- Wednesday: 2:00pm–7:00pm (5h)
- Thursday: 2:00pm–7:00pm (5h)
- Friday: 9:00am–7:00pm (10h)
From September 2026 (28 hours/week):
- Monday: 3:00pm–8:00pm (5h)
- Tuesday: 2:00pm–8:00pm (6h)
- Wednesday: 3:00pm–8:00pm (5h)
- Thursday: 2:00pm–8:00pm (6h)
- Friday: 2:00pm–8:00pm (6h)
Salary
£18–£20 net/hour
- April schedule: £540–£600 net/week
- September schedule: £504–£560 net/week
- Equivalent gross: £687.52–£897.37/week

Role Overview
The family is looking for a calm, reliable and French-speaking nanny to support their daughter’s development and maintain French language exposure. The role is shared care with the mother, requiring good communication and a collaborative approach.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and age-appropriate care
- Support French language development through daily interaction
- Engage the child in structured and creative activities
- Work alongside the mother in a shared care setup
Nanny Duties
- Organise age-appropriate activities (reading, singing, play)
- Encourage language development in French
- Support daily routine (meals, naps, transitions)
- Take the child to local activities or outings if required
- Maintain a calm and positive environment
Child-related Housekeeping
- Prepare simple meals for the child
- Keep play areas tidy and organised
- Manage child’s laundry if needed
- No deep cleaning
Requirements
- Native or fluent French speaker
- Experience with toddlers
- Calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Comfortable working in shared care with a parent present
- Reliable and committed long-term
