Role Overview
The nanny will primarily have sole charge of the family’s little girl, who is happy, curious, active and very talkative. She enjoys playing in the park, caring for her doll “Mr Baby”, dancing to music, messy and sensory play, learning to ride her tricycle and scooter, and reading books. She is fully potty trained, both day and night.
From July, she will attend nursery on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with flexible attendance hours, likely approximately 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The family is expecting a second baby in October 2026. Mum will be on maternity leave for a period of up to 12 months. This is not a shared-care role. When the little girl is at home, mum will care for the baby in a separate area of the house. When the little girl is at nursery, any care of the baby by the nanny will be on a sole-charge basis. While mum is on maternity leave, the nanny will only have sole charge of one child at a time.
Both parents are busy working professionals with demanding jobs and commuting commitments. Reliability is therefore essential.
