A family based in Bayswater, is looking for an experienced, reliable and organised full-time Housekeeper/Nanny to support their household and assist with the care of their two school-aged children.
This is a long-term position combining daily housekeeping, family cooking and childcare responsibilities. The family is looking for a gentle, patient and trustworthy individual who can work independently and become a valued part of their household.

Monday to Friday
7:45am to 6:30pm

Salary
£21.10 gross per hour
£1,134.13 gross per week
Approximately £58,975 gross per year, based on 52 paid weeks.

Role Overview
The family lives in a three-storey home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The position primarily involves maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised household, preparing meals for the whole family and assisting with the children’s school routines.
A separate cleaner is employed for deep cleaning. The Housekeeper/Nanny will be responsible for regular daily cleaning, laundry, cooking and the general upkeep of the home.
The family’s previous housekeeper remained with them for five years, and they are looking for someone seeking a similarly stable, long-term position.
Main Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping and household organisation
- Family laundry and ironing
- Cooking for the whole family
- School drop-offs and pick-ups
- Taking children to after-school clubs
- Supporting the children’s daily routines
- Maintaining a clean and organised home
Nanny Duties
- Help the children get ready for school
- Prepare breakfast and school belongings
- School drop-offs and pick-ups
- Accompany the children to after-school clubs and activities
- Supervise the children when at home
- Prepare snacks and meals for the children
- Assist with homework when required
- Support afternoon and evening routines
- Encourage independence and good manners
- Provide gentle, patient and attentive care
Housekeeping Duties
- Daily cleaning and tidying throughout the home
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Regular cleaning of bathrooms
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
- Tidying bedrooms and living areas
- Laundry, ironing and putting clothes away
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Organising wardrobes and household storage
- Preparing and cooking meals for the whole family
- Cleaning and tidying after meal preparation
- Keeping household supplies organised
- Maintaining the general cleanliness and organisation of the property
Deep cleaning is handled by a separate cleaner. No heavy-duty or specialist deep cleaning is required.
Travel
The ability to accompany the family on occasional trips would be appreciated but is not essential.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a combined Housekeeper/Nanny role
- Strong housekeeping and organisational skills
- Confident cooking for the whole family
- Experience caring for school-aged children
- Gentle, patient and caring personality
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and manage daily priorities
- Comfortable balancing housekeeping and childcare responsibilities
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Willingness to travel is an advantage
- Seeking a stable, long-term position
