A private family based in Notting Hill is seeking an experienced and organised rota nanny to care for their three children. This is a structured role within a fully staffed household, offering a comfortable private living space and a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Children
Three children: 2, 4, and 6 years old
Working Hours
Rota position: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Full-time hours during working weeks
Salary
£60,000 gross per year
Start Date
ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
Accommodation
Private accommodation provided:
Lower ground floor with own bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and private entrance
Role Overview
This is a sole-charge and shared-care role depending on the parents’ schedule. The nanny will be responsible for the day-to-day care and organisation of the children’s routines, ensuring a structured, safe, and engaging environment. The house is spread over four floors, requiring a good level of energy and organisation.
Main Responsibilities
- Full care of the three children during rota weeks
- Managing daily routines and schedules
- School and nursery runs
- Organising age-appropriate activities
- Supporting children’s development and independence
- Working collaboratively with the parents
Nanny Duties
- Morning and bedtime routines
- Preparing children’s meals
- School drop-offs and pick-ups
- Organising indoor and outdoor activities
- Supervising homework for older children
- Maintaining consistent routines
- Packing school bags and organising uniforms
Child-related Housekeeping
- Keeping children’s areas clean and organised
- Laundry and ironing for the children
- Tidying up after meals and activities
- Organising toys and bedrooms
- No deep cleaning
Requirements
- Fluent in French or English
- Proven experience in rota nanny roles
- Experience with multiple children
- Organised and proactive
- Energetic and able to manage a multi-level home
- Long-term commitment preferred
- Valid DBS
- Paediatric First Aid
