Salary
£19 – £22 gross per hour
£475 – £550 gross per week during term time
School holiday weekly salary to be calculated according to the agreed full-time schedule

Role Overview
The nanny will provide sole-charge after-school care for the two children, including school pick-ups, homework support, meals, activities and the evening routine. The children enjoy art, dance, role play, climbing and outdoor activities. The family would value a nanny who can arrange engaging, age-appropriate activities, as well as arrange playdates with their school friends.

During the school holidays, the nanny will provide full-time care and organise suitable outings and activities.

Main Responsibilities

Nanny Duties
Collecting the children safely from school, located a 5-minute walk from the family home
Supporting homework, reading and school-related tasks in English
Speaking French with the children and encouraging their language development
Preparing healthy snacks and simple meals for the children
Organising activities around the children’s interests
Arranging playdates with their school friends
Planning age-appropriate outings during school holidays
Supporting bath time and the evening routine where required
Managing school bags, uniforms and children’s belongings
Maintaining a calm, structured and positive environment

Child-Related Housekeeping
Keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised
Tidying up after meals and activities
Washing up items used for the children
Washing and drying the children’s clothes
Organising school bags, uniforms and belongings
Duties limited to the children only
No deep cleaning

Requirements
Fluent French speaker
Good level of English essential
Confident supporting homework in English
Previous professional nanny experience with school-aged children
Reliable, organised and proactive
Able to plan engaging activities during school holidays
Available for full-time hours during school holidays
Enhanced DBS check
Paediatric First Aid certificate
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Excellent references
