A family based in Notting Hill, W11, is looking for a highly experienced English-speaking nanny to care for their baby. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, proactive and confident with babies and early development.
The role will start on a part-time basis from October to December, around 3 days per week, to allow the baby and nanny to get to know each other. From January onwards, the role will become full-time, Monday to Friday.

Working Hours
October to December:
Around 3 days per week.
Exact days and hours to be confirmed.
From January onwards:
Monday to Friday.
Approximately 7:00/7:30am to 6:00pm.
Approximately 52.5 to 55 hours per week.
Salary
£19 – £22 gross per hour.
October to December:
Approximately £598 – £726 gross per week, based on 31.5 to 33 hours per week.
From January onwards:
Approximately £998 – £1,210 gross per week, based on 52.5 to 55 hours per week.
Start Date
October 2026.
Full-time from January 2027.
Role Overview
The nanny will be responsible for the baby’s daily care, routine, development and nursery duties. The family is looking for someone with strong baby experience, who can support the baby’s routine, developmental milestones and weaning/food introduction.
The nanny must have excellent English. Romanian would be a bonus but is not essential.
Main Responsibilities
Nanny Duties
Sole charge care of the baby.
Following and maintaining the baby’s routine.
Preparing bottles and meals when required.
Supporting weaning and food introduction.
Planning age-appropriate developmental activities.
Supporting the baby’s physical, emotional and cognitive development.
Taking the baby to local classes, parks and activities.
Organising age-appropriate play and stimulation.
Supporting naps and daily routine.
Keeping the parents updated on the baby’s day.
Child-related Housekeeping
Standard nursery duties only.
Preparing and tidying the baby’s meals.
Cleaning bottles and baby feeding items.
Keeping the baby’s areas clean and organised.
Managing the baby’s laundry.
Keeping toys and nursery items tidy.
No deep cleaning.
Requirements
Excellent English.
Romanian would be a bonus.
Strong baby experience.
Confident with weaning and food introduction.
Warm, reliable and proactive.
Highly experienced and professional.
Able to commit to part-time from October to December, then full-time from January.
DBS check and Paediatric First Aid preferred.
