A family based in Chelsea, SW10, is seeking a full-time nanny for their 11-month-old child, starting in September 2026.

The family is looking for a professional, reliable and experienced nanny who speaks either French with a good English. This is a sole charge role, although the parents may occasionally work from home.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am or 8:30am – 6:00pm
Approx. 47.5 to 50 hours per week

Salary
£19–£22 gross per hour
Approx. £900–£1,100 gross per week
Depending on experience and final working hours

Role Overview
The nanny will be responsible for the child’s daily care, routine, development and wellbeing.

This is a sole charge position. The parents may occasionally work from home, but the nanny must be confident taking full responsibility for the child during working hours.

Main Responsibilities

Nanny Duties
Preparing and giving meals, bottles and snacks for the child
Supporting the child’s daily routine
Managing naps and age-appropriate sleep routines
Changing nappies and supporting hygiene
Planning age-appropriate activities
Taking the child to local parks, classes and playgroups
Encouraging development through play
Reading books and singing songs
Supporting early communication and language development
Keeping the child’s areas tidy and organised
Communicating clearly with the parents about the child’s day

Child-related Housekeeping
Preparing simple meals for the child
Cleaning bottles, cups and feeding items
Keeping the nursery and play areas tidy
Doing the child’s laundry
Changing the child’s bedding when needed
Tidying up after meals and activities
No deep cleaning

Requirements
Previous experience with babies and toddlers
Confident with sole charge care
French-speaking with a good English
Reliable, punctual and organised
Warm, caring and professional
Able to support the child’s development through age-appropriate activities
Comfortable working in a home where parents may occasionally work from home
DBS check preferred
Paediatric First Aid preferred
Right to Work in the UK
