Contract type: Part-time, 4 days/week (Employed position with payslips, pension, insurance, etc.)
Location: Near Snaresbrook station (Central Line – less than 5 min walk)
Start date: September 2025
Salary: Up to £2,400 gross/month (£28,800 gross/year for 32 hours/week, including pension)

A lovely family based in Leytonstone is looking for a warm, experienced and trustworthy individual to help care for their two girls – aged 1.5 and 5 years old – and to support the smooth running of the home.

This is a live-out role, ideal for a mature nanny or “granny nanny” with personal or professional childcare experience. The family is offering a stable, long-term position with a friendly working environment.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday only – 32 hours/week

  • 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, then 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

  • 2-hour lunch break (flexible), but start and finish times are fixed

Duties include:

  • School and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups

  • Indoor/outdoor play, bath time, quiet time

  • Preparing healthy meals for the whole family (a love of cooking is essential)

  • Daily housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, general tidying)

Candidate requirements:

  • Mature, reliable and positive individual

  • Experience caring for children – either professionally or with your own children or grandchildren

  • Confident in the kitchen and happy to cook family meals

  • Able to provide excellent references

  • Living within a reasonable commute to E11

  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK (NIN, Settled/Pre-settled status or British citizenship required)

  • Speaking Spanish is a bonus but not essential
