Location: Victoria, SW1V (London)
Child: 12 months old
Start date: Mid of September 2025
Days: 2 full days per week (Monday and Friday)
Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (10 hours/day)
Hourly rate: £20 to £22 gross/hour
Weekly salary (estimate): For 2 days/week: £400 to £440 gross/week

About the role

A lovely family based in Victoria is looking for an experienced nanny to care for their 12-month-old. This is a key stage in the child’s development, and the family is looking for someone who can support growth and learning with attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth.

The nanny should be confident supporting developmental milestones around age one, including early mobility, speech, social engagement, and autonomy.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with children under 2

• Strong understanding of early years development, especially around 12 months

• Fluent in French or Cantonese/Mandarin 

• Enhanced DBS check

• Paediatric First Aid certification

• Warm, reliable, and engaging personality

• Excellent checkable references

Duties:

• Sole care of the child throughout the working day

• Managing daily routines (meals, naps, hygiene)

• Preparing fresh, age-appropriate meals and snacks “as agreed with family”

• Planning activities that support:

  • Gross and fine motor skills (walking, climbing, hand-eye coordination)

  • Early language development (reading, singing, verbal interaction)

  • Social and emotional growth (interactive play, first group exposure)

  • Encouraging autonomy (self-feeding, independent play)

• Outdoor time daily (walks, park, local toddler groups if appropriate)

• Keeping play and meal areas tidy and safe

• Providing regular updates to the parents on the child’s progress
