Job Description:

Our agency is recruiting a live-in nanny for a family based in Kensington and Chelsea, London. The family has a two-and-a-half-year-old child and a newborn, but the mother looks after the newborn herself.

Main Responsibilities:

• Childcare: Provide care for the 2.5-year-old child and a newborn. You will be responsible for the wellbeing, safety, and development of the 2.5-year-old.
• Meals: Prepare balanced meals suited to the children’s needs.
• Educational Activities: Plan and engage in fun, educational activities for the 2.5-year-old.
• Light Housekeeping: Tidy and organise the children’s rooms, play an active role in their daily environment (toys, games, clothes).
• Laundry: Manage the children’s laundry, including washing, drying, and ironing.
• Babysitting: Provide babysitting two evenings a week, between Monday and Thursday.
• Proxy Parenting: Be available to step in as a substitute parent when one of the parents is away (approximately twice a month).
• Travel: Both the family and nanny have agreed that the nanny should be able to travel with the family when necessary.

Job Conditions:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Accommodation: Private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom in the basement, with a separate entrance and kitchenette.
• Salary: £45,000 gross per annum.

Required Profile:

• Language: Spanish or English.
• Experience: Experience with newborns and young children.
• Skills: Ability to manage the children independently and perform light housekeeping tasks related to the children.
• Availability: Must be able to travel with the family when needed.
