A lovely family based in Putney is looking for a nanny or manny to care for their two energetic boys, now aged 8 and 6.

The family values good manners, independence, and active lifestyles. They follow an authoritative but caring parenting style and are looking for someone warm, firm, and reliable who can confidently manage two lively children with busy after-school routines.

They now have two cats at home, so the candidate must be pet-friendly.

About the Children

The boys are 8 and 6 years old, bright, curious, and full of energy. The eldest is passionate about ballet and attends two schools: one in Mayfair and one in Acton. The youngest enjoys swimming and sports. Their school is just a 4-minute walk from the house, but after-school activities require travel by public transport. The boys are very active and used to walking, biking, and scootering

Duties & Requirements

• School pick-up and escorting to after-school activities

• Supervision of homework

• Dinner, bath, and bedtime preparation

• Keep children safe, engaged, and supported

• Must be pet-friendly (2 cats at home)

• Must hold Settled status or valid UK work visa

• Enhanced DBS (issued within the last 12 months)

• Valid First Aid certificate (issued within the last 3 years)

• Minimum 2 years of experience with verifiable references

Working Hours – Two Options

Option 1:
Monday to Friday, 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm (20 hours/week)

Option 2:
Same as above plus 4 hours of housekeeping per week
The nanny can choose when to complete the housekeeping hours (total 24 hours/week)

Salary

£19 to £22 gross/hour, depending on experience and option selected
Approx.

• £380–£440 gross/week for option 1

• £456–£528 gross/week for option 2
